Bathroom Speakers Installation

It is important when wiring bathroom speakers to balance the impedance.  This basically the residence passed to your amplifier.  If there were too much resistance the amplifier would have harder work to produce the same audio level.  Or a larger amplifier would be required.  If there were too small an amount of resistance the amplifier could overheat.

The spacing for ceiling bathroom speakers within a ceiling is based on a few different things, such as position of the people listening, height of room and depends also on where the linked stereo equipment is situated.  There are charts available that illustrate good spacing for a pair of speakers in metres with relevance to the ceiling height.

To ensure you have the optimum ceiling speaker installation you can have a piece of glass fibre insulation material the other side of the speaker.
